With Gregg being back in school and busy with his new job, I was asked to mow the lawn this week. No big deal right? Well I decided to pull a few weeds and I found a snake skin. Unfortunately this is not unusual in our backyard, but still it always makes me jump. Well, then I got a little nervous to mow the lawn as you can imagine, but I went ahead anyway. We have just a little push mower and I gets stuck in ruts from time to time. Well, this happend and again and I just kept trying to push when all the of the sudden I saw what the problem was....A SNAKE stuck in my blades! The blades of coarse are not strong enough to kill it so it slithered right past my foot and I screamed for all the neighbors to hear. I immediately put the mower against the house and ran inside. Sorry, but the lawn is not getting mowed by me!
This is the snake skin that I pulled apart. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of the real one!

Wow, were you blind!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I went to the eye doctor today and I see 20/20! I haven't been able to see that well since kindergarten, so you can understand my enthusiasm. Every time I go to the eye doctor and he sees my chart he says "wow, were you blind!" He also preceded to tell me that he "hardly ever" sees results as good as mine with how blind I was. Man those Priesthood Prayers really work.
It has been a year since my lasik and what a wonderful year it has been. The best was camping where I could swim and go strait to bed without worrying where to wash my hands or keep my contacts so that I didn't lose them in the morning. What a great blessing it is to live in a time that you can get new eyes! They were worth every penny!

Yuba
These are the pictures of our one camping trip this year. It made up for our lost summer though. It was really fun to have some fun in the sun and water as you can see from these pictures.
Gregg learned how to surf behind the boat this year. He got up the very first time. The hard part was letting go of the rope and staying on the wake though. Maybe that's something he'll master in years to come.
Some candid "Alexander" moments.

Boise is "Suite!"
While Gregg was in Arizona, I got to go to Idaho and spend time with my family. Most of it was spent in Boise and we had a blast. Here is a few pictures of my trip.
This is my nephew's birthday at Boondocks. (yes Boise has one too) We had such a good time that I didn't get a ton of pictures because I was playing too much. Erica has a good pic of my dad and I go-carting, which I'll have to post later. We even did laser tag a few times and we thought we had a good strategy, but we still lost each time. Maybe next time.....darn teenagers! I think the adults had more fun than the kids. I ended up with a key chain and some candy, worth ten bucks in tickets. Good ol' arcades gotta love em!

Here is some pictures from the football game we went too. We got the nice suite with hotel room and all including room service! Hence the name of my title. I really felt cool when we got to go a special way to the food only VIPs get! As Gregg would say "Booyah!"
