I love my sis in law!

Sister in laws are great! Last week I was having kind of a bad/emotional week and it just so happened that Brittany came in to get her hair done on Friday, so her being the good listener that she is listened to my problems. Well, the next day (Saturday) Brett came in to get his hair cut and in his hands were a huge bouquet of flowers! They were from Britt with a really cute note. Of course I started to get all teary eyed and Brett told me not to cry, so I sucked it up for a while. It was such a nice thing for her to do and it meant soooo much to me. So thank you Britt. I really love them!

You Rock!

Last weekend we had the Curtis Jackson family come visit. Can you guess what we ended up doing? The boys have been practicing and they sure impressed me. Last time I saw them they were lucky to get through 3% of Slow Ride and now they are almost through the list. (Sorry, I'm just talking a little Guitar Hero lingo.) Anyway, we love having family come stay even if it's just for our Wii games. Hahaha.

Anniversary

The day turned out successful, if any of you were worried...haha. It was my year to plan and I took Gregg to dinner at La Caille. We weren't able to get out of town because of work and church responsibilities, so I decided to go all out for dinner. It was very romantic and tasty!

These are the flowers Gregg sent me, very pretty and still blooming to this day!

This is what happens when you let someone else write your love note....It's suppose to say "It has been a great four years," NOT "It's been great for years." Amazing how a couple of words can really change the meaning. It almost sounds like "it's been great and all, but......" Haha, we had a good laugh about this and I'm keeping this card forever!

Cute Gregg next to our firework display. It suprised us both when we got this show. Gregg hates to be the center of attention at restaurants, that's why he'll never order anything that sizzles or smokes. Haha. We had everyone's attention this night though.

This is a bad close up of me, but I'm still figuring out my phone and couldn't get the flash to work.

The Big FOUR!

Wednesday is our fourth anniversary and boy has time flown! I'll post pictures of the actual day later, but I thought I would post some pictures of us old and new just so everyone can see how we've grown as a couple. It's really hard to put down in words how my love has grown for Gregg. I had so much love for him when we got married and certainly that is why we got married, but my love grows deeper every year.
For all of you that know Gregg you know how funny he is, and he still suprises me with the witty things he comes up with. He's such a hard worker, and he's always doing what's best for our family. Even though we can get into silly fights about guest room pillows and such...I love how we're on the same page with most things. My favorite part of the day is our couple prayers and scripture reading, it's when I truly feel the closest to him and our Lord. So to some this post may be a little corny, but I think we can get away with that on our anniversary!
Here are some thank yous I have for Gregg....

-thanks for making me laugh, even if I'm a raging lunatic
-thanks for letting my sing my heart out to karaoke all the way to Idaho
-thanks for letting me read whatever book I may be on with the light on until the late hours of the morning
-thank you for working so hard, while I was building my clientelle(and continue to work so hard)
-thanks for kissing me while I sleep before you leave for work
-thanks for making me a hardcore Utah Utes fan
-thank you for eating all the crappy burnt fries so I have first pick at the good ones!
-thank you for always driving (I hate driving)
-thank you for driving the old car so I can drive the new one
-thanks for understanding that I get really mean when I don't have food and not getting mean back
-thank you for listening to all my lengthy stories at the end of the day
-thank you for ALWAYS giving me a back stratch
-thank you for laughing at my jokes
-thank you for realizing my right foot does and will run into everything when I walk and NOT laughing
-thank you for holding me when I cry
-thank you for choosing Herc, even if he has social anxiety
-thank you for trying to be a good member of the church, even if it means starting over each day
-thank you, thank you, thank you, for all you do I love you!

All these pictures are in order...watch my hair grow as well! haha

It's snow good...

I wanted to post pics of around our house for the Idahoans. Keep in mind our house is nothing compared to around the valley. Tricia and Brad's church was canceled because it was so bad yesterday. As I type I can hear it melting, but it is somehow snowing at the same time. Good ol' Utah.
Gregg and I were watching the news last night and they had kids making tunnels and forts in the big huge banks of snow and we came to realize that this is how winters always were when we were young. Maybe this summer wont be so much of a drought, if we ever get to summer! All of this snow is a big reason the Idahoans haven't been able to come visit, and we haven't been able to go up there. Keep in mind that Gregg barely shoveled the snow in the back yard yesterday.
I think I'm really going to get some use out of those Uggs this year!
