The Taylor Three

Gregg and I had the opportunity to take Jocelyn's first year photos a couple months ago. We are loving the whole photography thing and once again my disclaimer is that I'm NOT a professional. To boot I made a little (Alexander Prints) logo just to make it look more like the real deal. Well, that and I'm a dork. I love doing little things like that on the computer.
Jocelyn is our niece and she absolutely adores Gregg. She'll throw a fit until he picks her up and heaven forbid someone take her from his arms. Enjoy this cute family!

Idaho State Fair

This post has actually taken me about three weeks to finish because of pictures not uploading, being too busy, and just giving up. So please enjoy because it has been a pain in my butt.

There's never a shortage of entertainment at the EISF (Eastern Idaho State Fair).
There's always a crowd of good looking people....

Always a carnival...

And always some people who you wonder "where the heck do these people come from?" I took this right before he took a pic with the "celebrities" *see below*. I'm sure it's his facebook profile picture.

*WARNING GRAPHIC* But, hilarious....
and least, but not final...there is always some movie stars! Well, EISF's definition of celebrities and maybe they don't have people dressed up every year, but it went better with the flow of the blog.
Elvis and Joan Rivers. Apparently this is in their younger years....MUCH younger years.
Dorothy. This Dorothy had brown hair with purple streaks and a black Toto. huh?
Glinda the good witch. Makadee thought we were zapped into Disneyland and wanted to see more princesses.

Camping in the Uintas

A couple weeks ago we went on a short overnight camping trip to the mountains. It was really peaceful and I only wish it had lasted longer.

It didn't take long for J to find the dirt.

I know this picture is way blurry, but it was just too cute not to share.

Brad and Tricia found a cool lake fittingly named Alexander Lake. It took some good 4wd to get to, but was sure worth it.

Back Tracking

The last week in July Gregg had to go to New York for work so I headed to Idaho for the week. I'm too busy/lazy to upload each photo so I just made a collage instead. It would have been better if Gregg was there, but it was nice to relax and enjoy the hot weather with family in the place I love best. I miss summers in Idaho that's for sure.

fo-toes

We had some pictures taken by the amazing Duston Todd back in April. These below are just a few of the pictures we had taken on that fine day.

In July On the Fourth

The fourth of July is my favortie holiday, in July on the fourth. Okay, I stole that from Ryan, but it really is my favorite holiday. It was the first time Gregg and I were able to be in Idaho in years and it was one busy day. First, we headed to the parade in Rupert. Then, we headed to a yummy BBQ at Ed and Alpha's. Summer at their house are the best! Then, it was off to Blackfoot for our family reunion. Finally, we drove up to Idaho Falls for some really superb fireworks where we stayed the night at Curtis and Brenda's.

Addison and Makadee waiting for the parade to start.

Colby and me waiting for the fireworks.

Family Lagoon Day

Even though the absence of blog posts would have you believe we have done nothing this summer, we have actually been very busy. I've managed to forget or have not wanted to pack around my camera so thankfully Brenda has had hers.
We planned a Lagoon Day the Monday before the 4th of July and it turned out really fun (for most of us anyway *wink, wink* Gregg).

Things learned at Lagoon
-Wicked really is WICKED and you WILL lose: sunglasses, cell phones, keys, and your mind.
-Wicked has a search for lost items at 3:00,7:00, and after it closes.
-Don't let friends ride roller coasters while holding your new iPhone. It will fall out and you will panic.
-Lagoon desperately needs little nets to put your belongings in.
-Gregg is human and can lose things just like his wife.
-Gregg's sunglasses are tough enough to survive a 4-5 story fall.
-Kelsey's phone is tough enough to survive a big fall.
-Lacey's sunglasses, although made to stay on your head, are not tight enough for bumper cars or Wicked.
-iPhone's have a GPS tracking app. (something I learned anyway)
-We would rather lose possessions than actual people.

Waiting for bumper cars.

Watching Cameron and Niki take off.
The most gutsy people in the group.

Dad and Quinn waiting for the green light.

Kashayla, Ryan, Lacey, and Niki ready for blast off.
