What were you doing 10 years ago? Hanging out at home (Idaho), probably trying to get a tan (unsuccessfully)

5 Years ago? I just started dating Gregg. Quinn was getting home from his mission and I think we had a family reunion at my parents. (yes, I seriously remember that!)

5 Favorite Snacks:
1. I have craved Twix for like three months now.
2. Strawberry applesauce
3. Girl Scout thin mints
4. nibs
5. Jamba Juice (yes I’m sooo healthy)

5 things I'd do with a Billion Dollars:
1. Move and pay off new house
2. Invest
3. Save
4. Get a million in dollar bills and swim in it
5. Okay. . . I guess I would donate some too, maybe, or I’d become a selfish jerk, bwahaha

5 Places I've lived:
1. Rupert
2. Holladay
3. Cottonwood
4. Sandy
5. Murray

5 Things you might not know about me:
1. Gregg and I make up weird things while in the car. . .(dance moves, phrases. . . oh snap*, bueno, so forth)
2. I have never had braces
3. I love arranging flowers, in fact that’s what I would have done if I didn’t do hair
4. I was an aunt at age 8
5. I am a pro at making homemade gravy. Okay maybe not a pro, but everyone makes fun of me because I use so much of it!

Haircut

I cut my hair a while ago, but Erica wanted me to post a picture of it so she could see what I looked like. So finally I took a picture before work and here you have my wonderful selfy. I have absolutely loved it. I grew my hair out for four years and it was time to be me again! For those of you who liked my long hair better....you can take those 40 minutes it took to do my hair and shove it!

Congrats Shaun and Emily!

Our friends Shaun and Emily welcomed their new baby girl to the world on Friday! I told Emily a million times to try to shoot for the 31st, but I guess there's not too much control over that. Her name is Allison Emily and she weighed 7lbs 14oz. And she is in the 90 percentile...haha just kidding. I just think it's funny when people say that, because I have no idea what their talking about, but one day I'm sure I will do the same thing.

What a cutie!

The whole family.

Am I too old for this?

So I had a great day on my birthday. Gregg and I slept in, then we went to a late breakfast at Cracker Barrel (my favorite place), then we went to see my friend Emily's new baby (which I will post soon), then we went shopping (birthday tradition), and when I got home there was a note on my counter that said to look in the fridge. To my surprise there was a dozen roses in the fridge. I was soooo excited. Gregg had no clue what was going on, but I knew who did...my awesome father in law. It was so sweet! Then we headed off to The Roof for dinner with Brad and Tricia. As you all know Tricia and I share the same birthday so it's always fun to hang out with them on our special day. To finish off the day we walked around Temple Square as the sun was setting. It was the best birthday I've had in years. Thanks to everyone who made it all possible. First...I'd like to thank the academy...just kidding. Cheesy I know. But, seriously thank you to everyone for their birthday wishes!

Flowers from Bruce

Waiting to be seated.

So full I can hardly smile.
The birthday girls!
Oh! If you are wondering what I ended up with for presents I will tell you...Gregg gave me a gift certificate to Deseret Book to either get scriptures or a case, a gift certificate to Borders, and a really great pair of new sunglasses. He reminded me after we got the sunglasses that I was very spoiled and he hoped I knew that. My reply? I know!
