So this odd lady overheard that I was heading to France and this is how the conversation went...
Lady in a baby voice: "Oh, are you going with your parents?"
Me: "No, with my husband."
Lady: "Oh, you're married?"
Me: "Yeah."
Lady: "Did you guys win a trip?"
Me: "Nope we're just going for fun."
Lady: "You must not have kids then."
Me: "Yep you're right, no kids."
Then I walked away annoyed as she was saying "well, this is the time to do it then."
Apparently you can only go to France if...
A: Your parents pay for it.
B: You win it
C: You don't have kids
Sorry for the rest of you suckers!

People are funny! I'm so excited for you guys are going to France! You'll have to take lots of pictures (it's the closest I'll ever get!!) BECAUSE... A and B will NEVER happen AND I have what's mentioned in C ... Anyways, when's the big trip?? Fun!

Lace, you totally deserve this trip and I'm way excited for you. The rest of us are just jealous we can't go on a trip like this because we are fall into one or more of these categories: old(me), not married, have kids, or just not that smart with our money(me again). Enjoy your trip!

Ya...we get that alot, except no one asks if my parents are paying for it anymore. I guess its good that you still look young enough for that one :) Hope your having fun in France!! You deserve it!
Don't let some odd lady rain on your parade. Kids, money, parents whatever, it doesn't matter. All we can do is lean on the Lord, make the best of what we have, and make our own happiness. I'm excited for you! Take beautiful pictures! Eat yummy food! See beautiful art! And have the time of your life with your very best friend by your side.....:)!
